Northwest Best Soil Builder and Top Dressing

Northwest Best Soil Builder and Top Dressing was designed with Northwest gardens in mind. When used to amend our Northwest soils, the ingredients in NW Best has the unique ability to break up heavy soils to aid drainage and retain moisture in fast draining soils, reducing watering requirements. Used consistently, Northwest Best Soil Builder and Top Dressing slowly decomposes to transform your soil structure. NW Best is 100% organic, and consists of aged fir bark, professional grade Canadian sphagnum peat moss, and a blend of natural composts. NW Best helps your plant create a denser branching root system providing a solid foundation for a thriving plant. 

 

Use as a top dressing to your landscapes, soil mix for your vegetable gardens, or as a planting mix to start your new plants off right.

 

Spread 1 to 3 inches of Northwest Best Soil Builder and Top Dressing over the entire are to planted, till or spade in, and rake to fine grade before planting. For heavy soils with poor drainage you will want to apply a heavier about amendment.

 

Dig a hole approximately three times the width of the container and as deep as the container. Add enough NW Best Soil Builder to the removed soil to make up a 50/50 mixture. Fill in around the plant with your new 50/50 soil mixture.
