"Yummy Pesto Made Easy" RecipeIngredients: 4 Cloves of Garlic 1/2 cup of Pine Nuts 2 cups of Freshly Picked Basil Leaves - packed tightly 1/2 cup of Olive Oil 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese 3/4 teaspoon Salt 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
Combined all these ingredients and puree them in a food processor or blender. - Done!
It's that simple. Keep your pesto in the refrigerator until you are ready to use it. You can also freeze pesto to have in the winter time. If you have unused ice cube trays will them with pesto and freeze them. Once frozen, put the individual cubes in a container to keep them from getting frost-bite. Then when you want to make a pesto dish you only have to thaw the amount you need!
