Think "pink"- pink blueberry that is!
In a heavenly shade of pink, Vaccinium 'Pink Lemonade' is the first ever pink blueberry to be brought to market.
Pink Lemonade offers four seasons of color. The pinkish-white showy flowers are bell-shaped in spring. The fruit are pale greenish at first, then dappled pink, and finally turn to deep pink on ripening.
In fall, beautiful bright orange foliage fades to deep red fall, making this shrub a great choice for a colorful autumn garden. Wintertime twigs are a dusky reddish-brown. Fruit ripens mid-late to late-season, with moderate yields of medium-sized, glossy, bright pink fruit. 'Pink lemonade' has a mild pleasant flavor and good firmness.
Can't you just see your late summer berry salad with the addition of these beautiful 'pink lemonade' berries?
