Nothing teaches patience and anticipation better than a seed or a bulb. They teach us how to nurture and care for something other than ourselves. Watching the seed grow, you learn how time moves. And once the plant matures, we learn how much plants give back to us in their beauty, their food, and sometime their shade and protection.
